Thank you for coming back and reading. I wanted to share my excitement… I just received the news that, I made the “Top 50 Fibromyalgia Blogs” list on feedspot I’m #44 on the list” I also made the “Top 100 Chronic Illness Bloggers” list, I’m #95 on the list!
My reaction was priceless, as my jaw dropped and I had pure joy on my face! During my decision to start a blog to raise awareness on Fibromyalgia, I never thought or had any expectations on making a top blog list. Honestly, I didn’t even know there was a list. As I started my blog, sharing stories and my personal experiences, I noticed that most blogs are the same. We all suffer from the same pain, we go through the same issues, some are blessed to not work and some live on a fixed income. I thought to myself, what can I do to bring something different and to uplift my followers/readers, give them hope, to inspire my spoonie warriors as well as educate them on the changes you go through while coping with fibro. As well as educate others..
The lightbulb went off in my head; Myself. I can bring myself and who I am as a person and what makes me smile. I’m a naturally loving, silly, positive and fun person to be around. That’s just who I am. I’ve been this way for years. Yes, I’m sure I’ve changed as the years went on and I matured but I’m still who I am to the core. I love love and, love to give myself to others.
Despite all this I’m a very shy, low key person. I never thought that I would’ve had people interested in my story, and my journey with fibro. As many of you know, coping as well as battling fibromyalgia is exhausting physically and mentally. It truly takes a toll on your spirit. Trying to manage working, being a mom, a wife, keep up with my blogs, and respond to my messages on social media is a very difficult challenge. But I want you all to know that I will continue to share my stories, my experience, my knowledge on fibro, and my love to you all as long as I’m physically capable too.
Thank you Feedspot for recognizing and selecting my blog for #44 on the Top 50 best Fibromyalgia blogs and #95 on the Top 100 best chronic illness bloggers. I’m truly humbled to make the list!
Thank you to all my supporters and Spoonie family. I always say there’s a reason why I was diagnosed with this nightmare of an illness. I may not know all the reasons right now, and I may never really know. But I do know that part of it was to connect me with such a beautiful and loving community of warriors that give me that push when we need it, ear when we need it, and unconditional understanding with no judgement. Thank you, I appreciate you all!
As always gentle hugs, love & light.
